Christen Zook
Sweet. Soulful. Ethereal. Just some of the words that have been used to describe the effortless, beautiful voice of Christen Zook. As a child Christen found comfort and clarity in the songs and voices of her fathers record collection and 90's pop and alternative music, which in turn has inspired a life dedicated to the soothing power of singing her heart out. At 21, encouraged by the late and talented Matt Osborne, Zook began to write and perform in earnest, and her album 'Change Is Coming', produced by friend and Juno winner Rob Szabo, earned her a 2011 K-W Arts Award.

Community Couch
In the hustle and bustle of daily life, we often forget the people around us. How often do you strike up a conversation with someone in line at the grocery store, or say hello to someone you pass on the street? The people around us might be strangers, but they all have stories to tell and contributions to make to our lives, if only we’d offer them space in which to do so. The Community Couch brings people together to share moments. That’s it. And it could be wonderful, awkward or just something new.
