OTHER NAME: FOOTSIE TOY
Rarely has a toy reemerged over and over again as a hit “new toy” as the Lemon Twist (or Jingle Jump, Footsie, Skip-A-Roo, or Skip It) has done. First introduced in the late 1960’s as the Footsie toy, it became very popular for several few years before gradually fading away into obscurity. Then in the mid-1970’s the toy reemerged as the Lemon Twist toy and became one of the top selling toys of the decade.

Hold the Line is a small 'nonprofit-that-could' made up of artists, community builders, sustainability advocates, and Waterloo Region enthusiasts. We love the farms, towns, and natural spaces that make up our countryside, and the walkable shops and restaurants that make our downtown cores exciting places to work and play. Our purpose is to celebrate the Region of Waterloo's history of protecting our farmland and environmentally sensitive areas by protecting the integrity of the Countryside Line, the border that delineates the extent of development and urban sprawl. He learned to juggle when he was fourteen, the rest, as they say, is history. He loves what he does and his goal is simple: go out and make people smile and everything else will take care of itself. Humour is a universal factor, and a person's smile has the same value whether you are a millionaire or a kid from the projects. JP has performed in Trinidad, Tobago, and the United States. Every summer he tours Eastern Canada and goes to local fairs, market, shows, or gigs that he can. He aims to travel the world and will do a show where ever there is an opportunity!
