ASK ME ABOUT: Renaissance Venetian Art
Nancy is an art-loving, reality-tv watching traveller. She went to school on both coasts (Nova Scotia for her undergrad, BC for her Master’s) before coming back home to KW and getting sucked into the local arts scene, where she now works as part of the KW Symphony. She loves music but her background is in Art and Art History – She is always willing to geek out about the Renaissance!

Come join DJ Raflar under the night sky, along King St in the Share the Love Hub while he spins his tunes.
Professionally Ralf is an artist, primarily painting the Ontario landscapes. Music has always played a large part of his creative side so he also djs for local clubs and artistic events. Music and art is about evoking an emotional response.
BOOK-MO-BIKE
Read aloud at Summer Lights

Pick a book from the Book-Mo-Bike and read it for all to hear. Share your favourite book or let the Book-Mo-Bike attendants pick one for you.
If reading aloud isn't your thing, stick around for some special guest readers!
Of course, you can always take a book or leave a book with the fabulous Book-Mo-Bike.
We are a Little Free Library on wheels - very cool wheels! This citizen led Book-Mo-Bike celebrates books, bikes and the arts while wheeling around KW. We pop up on local trails and at community events to give away or exchange free books. Our team includes Juanita Metzger, Liana Kreamer, Meg Harder, Trent Bauman and other guests.
THE WEDDING
Lisa and Jeff Share their Love with you!

Jeff and Lisa will share their Love with everyone at this most spectacular Un-Wedding ever! Jeff and Lisa applied back in January when The Berlin, Kitchener Waterloo Symphony, The Walper Hotel, and Summer Lights sent a call out for couples to get married at SLF. The official committee selected Jeff and Lisa and fast forward they are now getting married.
What is special is Brenda Halloran will be marrying Jeff and Lisa with special permission with the City of Kitcheners Clerks office.
This is a Real-Live wedding and we are honoured you will be our guest.
Stay around after the wedding for Sing-A-Long, Dancing, Cake and surprises.

The Royal City Ukulele Ensemble is an adult learning ensemble program that is in its 4th season. The group learns and rehearses throughout the year and enjoys multiple performances at various community events throughout the year. It's 30 ukuleles for the win!
