All great things happen at Civic Polis, which is inside/out of City Hall and directly in front of City Hall on King St. With Café Pyrus as a bonus who offering up nothing less than True Bliss. The heart of Summer Lights Festival, you can find the Welcome Centre, BikeKitchener tours, Volunteer Check In, stop for the LUX Bus (which is free between uptown and downtown) and the fantabulous happenings! Here you can get maps, ask questions, hang out or get printed schedules.

Jump on The Luxe Bus for a free ride between Kitchener and Waterloo! Sit back, relax, and listen to some live music while you're transported between the Summer Lights Festival Hubs! Brought to you by CHC Student Housing, the owners of Waterloo's premier student housing buildings, Luxe I & II. Bus leaves Civic Polis (at King and College in Kitchener) and Square 2.0 (King at Willis Way in Waterloo) every half an hour starting at 8:30pm. Last pick-up is at 1:30am. *Last bus leaving for Art Parc/KWAG departs at 12:30am.
Stops include:

- Art Parc (KWAG)
- Le Village (Princess at Regina)
- Corners (Erb and Carolyn)
- Square 2.0 (King at Willis Way)

An eclectic mix of fun cover tunes from Bob Marley to Nine Inch Nails, Maroon 5 to Led Zeppelin, Shakira to Weezer all performed by three guys with beards. Adrian Jones, Kim Regimbal and Dave Jones have been playing together for almost 20 years. They can also be found playing original music with their band snack! (with a fourth member that does not have a beard.)

Solar Collector: Explore the Sculpture

Explore and interact with the Solar Collector! This solar-powered and interactive sculpture is made up of twelve shimmering metal shafts that rise at surprising angles from a grassy hill in front of the Regional Operations Centre in Cambridge. Each piece of the sculpture has been positioned to reflect the angles of the sun through the year. Come out and help to choreograph the sculpture's nightly performance via the web - from the rotunda at Kitchener City Hall. You can even watch your squence on a live webcam.

Mary Mattingly (New York), House and Universe: Sphere and Cube is two sculptures - a large sphere and a large cube, consisting of the artist’s personal possessions bound together with rope. On June 21st the artist will roll her boulder of personal possessions along King Street from Kitchener City Hall to Waterloo Public Square. Video showing elements of the sculptures will be presented on The Cube, Kitchener City Hall.

Jefferson Campbell-Cooper (Hillsburg, ON), Constricycles two tractor trailer replicas (a dumptruck and a front-end loader) constructed from salvaged bicycle parts. Vehicles are operated by pedal power to move modest amount of materials. On June 21, the artist will be animating the vehicles at Kitchener City Hall Civic Square and along King Street.
